Why is it necessary for me to say this?
[Twitter!rant turned LJ post, both inspired by built up frustration and a final, incredibly annoying conversation with an Adam stan. This isn't aimed towards everyone, just those who insist I'm a tasteless heathen. Yes, I have been called tasteless... I may be exaggerating on that second bit...]
For the record, people, it is not a crime for me not to like Adam Lambert. I have never liked the style of singing/music he is a part of and therefore, I find it incredibly annoying that people assume I'm "bitter" that he's going to be a world star and Kris isn't.
First of all, just because I don't like him doesn't mean I think others shouldn't. I know for a fact a lot of people are into it. Have fun! I'm not the kind of person to spew my opinions and negate others'. Unlike those who find it necessary to bash Kris to shine a light on Adam.
I'm not enough of a Kris fan to get my panties in a twist over whether he'll be more or less successful. What happens, happens. I'll go on listening to Kris, you listen to Adam. Differing musical interests are clearly not the end of the world. We're still here, right?
