rant:I am continually both amused and disgusted by the dichotomy between teenage girls and guys.
My boyfriend and his friends spend time talking about girls, checking them out, flirting with them, generally just amusing themselves with the idea that we are playthings and not human beings. They can't go five minutes without bringing something to do with "pussy" up. So. Fucking. Lame.
My girlfriends and I talk about how creepy and dumb guys are, how we find it so hard to even come across a man we can respect or find attractive because most guys we even casually meet act like perverted pigs. How sometimes our nights out are somewhat ruined because old men can't help but waggle their tongues at us across the bar. We are absolutely jaded at the grand old age of... 18!! So. Sad. I have a feeling guys don't grow out of this... most at least.
Both groups spend our time degrading the opposite sex, but in entirely different ways. Domino effect I guess, who knows.
But seriously...
Do women really have to jump through hoops to find guys that are less like animals? Maybe juggle some fiery batons? It's such a pathetic situation. Chivalry died when the porn industry started booming and becoming a part of every day life, I swear. Or maybe fairy tales lied, and it never existed in the first place. :P
For the amount of time guys talk about titties women are saying they want to be lesbians, but can't manage to make the leap in attraction. :P
I say we need to forget about dick and go where the empathy is. /rant
