Gas prices are down to $1.98 now! And to think, just a while ago it was almost $3! I don't know what happened, but my parents sure are glad!
And another reason to celebrate.... an even better reason.......... my friends who live in FL. (Autumn and Amy - lol who else... I'm always talking about them, aren't I?) get to come up here for the Mossy Creek Festival! We thought they weren't going to be able to (which really, really disappointed me) because of a situation with their dad's job.
But plans got changed, and I'm so happy! I only wish they could stay longer. They're arriving here Saturday night, and have to leave on Sunday after the fesitval. But oh well, at least I get to see them!!
Can you please pray for my old church back in FL.? The youth pastor just left to be pastor of a church in California, and now the head pastor might be leaving too! I feel just awful for the congregation. And also, could you pray that we find a church home soon? I'm getting really tired of trying churches. It seems like there's something wrong with every one of them here!
We tried Ruby Tuesday's for the first time the other day. It's a lot like Bennigans, which is great, because we don't have any of those here! I got a bacon-cheese-mushroom burger. It was really good. Everyone loved their food except Dad. He said if he ever goes back, he's just going to get the salad bar! What's the point of going to a nice resturaunt like that and getting just a salad? lol!
Christina and I got to go to the GA. National Fair recently. The fairgrounds are really closeby to us! It was fun. I wish I could have gone with some friends, but at least I got to go. We went at night, which was cool because all the rides were all lit up and stuff.
It was fun to people-watch while we were waiting in line for rides. People with big stuffed animal prizes, people with weird hair colors, people trying to shout into their cell phones above the noise... hehe.
You know those guys who are always trying to get you to play those games ring toss, shoot the can, etc., where you win prizes? Well we were heading towards a ride and this guy who was in charge of a game was like, "Heeeey there..... I let the pretty girls cheat." Ugh! We walked right past him. So annoying! lol
