day 19 ★ a song from your favorite album
This song gets a post dedicated to it. Oh yes it does. This is because as hard as it is to pin down one album to be my favourite, there's definitely a handful that had a pretty strong influence in influencing my music taste/musicianship.
Daft Punk's Discovery album is Daft Punk and probably French house at it's most tolerable point for me as Discovery is such a well produced, musically cohesive gem that I'm glad that my dad gave me this album long, long ago.
Aerodynamic is my favourite track from the album, and this is after much painful deliberation over the span of nearly 10 years. (Oh god, is the album really that old now? It's still pretty timeless I think.)
Daft Punk still rank highly on my list of musical influences, I think. Or at least, Discovery does, haha. None of their albums before or after have the same charm.
