the place i'm living in is called mei gui wan and the exterior lks quite pretty and scenic, however our place itself is the opp. the hostel is kinda cui, nt the cozy home swt home and there are no tiles in the toilet which makes it lk very dirty. the rm i shared with my fellow intern is really small and without a table. the bed and blankets had some weird smell and aircon emit weird smelll initially too, maybe because it hasnt been used for quite some time. luckily i brought my perfume and my vs body lotion and they've masked a bit of the unpleasant smell. but the lucky thing is 2 other interns are returning to singapore so we can move into the bigger rm nx mth! luckily all the rms are air-conitioned and the whole place is wireless so it's still a little comfy to snuggle in my bed and watch some videos online.
talking abt videos ahhhh, i didnt know china banned youtube and a lot of other websites la! singapore only bans the famous porn sites (which doesnt bother me at all) but china bans youtube and blogspot which are the 2 websites that the frequent the most! tt's why i had to find a new platform to post my entries and i've to resort to youku now for my kang xi lai le and anime, which i've to read chi subtitles! tsk ele, when i return i'll only know the chi names of the characters. youku takes quite some time to load too, nt as fast as youtube. sighhh!
anw i went shopping at Qi Pu Road today and we went to the wholesale market. the clothes there are really affordable as compared to freaking pian qian FEP in Singapore. most of the items are less than RMB50 after bargaining and i felt kinda cheated for buying a skirt at RMB65 at another place initially. arghhh. and some of the clothes i saw on the famous Taobao website was sold there too!! fake stuff from famous japanese brands like SLY were also sold there and i bought a tshirt for RMB40. :D:D
