Yesterday I went to the market and bought 5 meters of fabric. It was really exciting. There's so much activity and so many things being sold. Soap, peanuts, nail polish. I bargained for the fabric without really knowing what i was doing. It started at 3750 francs but i only got it down to 3500. Turns out, after consulting with my host aunt that that I paid a fair price after all. Roughly equal to 7 american dollars. Now said aunt is going to make me some sort of Senegalese outfit. She has a clothes making business so I'm very happy about that. Time to head to class.
