I have a different version of the cordmaker and adore it. I've used it for all sorts of different trims. I twist up lacing cords for all my gowns and have extra in my suitcases. I then feel no compunction about cutting myself out of a gown after a long exhausting day if it comes to that.

I will have to try that as well for lacing cords. I usually do the disk thing which takes longer so I don't want to cut those. Thanks for that suggestion.

HA! I saw a similar tool in a toy store being sold to twist girl's hair with yarn. It was pink & purple, but the same device, and I had the same thought when I saw it; that I should buy it to twist cord for costumes.

Hmm... I wonder if I could twist my own hair with this. Certainly long enough. I also wonder if there is a difference between the two items in how they handle things.
