Blackwork partlet
The blackwork embroidery is DONE!!!!!!!
Now to wash, dry, press, starch, and make it into a proper partlet. But I need to make the mockup first, so I know exactly where to cut for my neckline. I plan on doing the mockup after the kids are in bed, and to cut (eeep!) and hand sew the partlet during the week.
My goodness, this has been a long term project. Started on Saturday, September 12, 2009 with my first stitches at a tiny renfaire in the mountains ( first post). I finished today around 6:40pm. I've no idea how many hours as I did not try to keep track, although I would roughly estimate about 200-210 hours, maybe more. I just worked on it when I had time, and inclination, and long stretches in between where I didn't touch it.
