That was fun!
Tonight I went over to hsifeng's place, and besides chatting about CoCo, looking over books and handouts I had brought, and chatting about lots of other things, I actually got the puff sleeves of my teal silk surcoat clipped, trimmed, pinned, and a little sewn together before I had to head home.
I was going to continue with the next part, which is hand sewing gold cording along an edge, but I am not able to locate the gold cord I was going to use, so I have to hunt that part down. I am also missing the cord I plan to use for the closure loops and buttons. If I can't find it soon I will continue on, and do what I can otherwise. I will do more hunting tomorrow.
It was so nice to spend some time with another costumer and just sew. Thank you my dear! I look forward to next week.
