Lost treasure
There are times when cleaning the sewing room means finding a lost treasure. I found an old necklace from the 80s that had been stuffed into a box (from the move from my Mom's home when I got married), that works great as a period carcanet! Just need to maybe spiff it up with some applied gemstones and/or pearls, or it may just work fine by itself. Woot!
