I have officially made my LiveJournal friends only. Does this mean that I don't want you reading it? No! It just means that I want to control who can and who can't see it.

I searched for people in Texas over the age of 25 (I'm 29) who had listed Wal-mart as an interest. I work at Wal-mart and so I figured I'd browse journals of people who had that interest.

I go through lots of journals all the time doing different types of searches... most of the time, the journals I run in to are boring or never updated. Sometimes they are interesting but I can't relate to the person. If the journal is friends protected then I carefully read over the person's interest list.

If something seems to *click* with me about the person -- I really like their personality -- then I add them as a friend. If they add me back then I keep them as a friend... if they don't then I take the hint and delete them.

I consider myself very picky about who I add as friends so please consider yourself complimented.

I was just really confused because we don't have any friends or communities in common :) But I did see we do have several interests in common. ^_^

I've done random searches like that before but I've never had any luck with them!
