Just a word of advice
If you ever think it will be fun to ride a bus from Greensburg to Oakland and then take a walking tour of Pittsburgh.... don't do it. It'll be 800 degrees, you will spend too much money, the Japanese foodstore you go to visit will be closed, AND you'll drink urine flavored iced coffee to stay cool. Instead, call the tokyo foodstore before hand and see if they are open, and drive. One car, one parking garage, two people split the cost. No random bus stops or random idiots. PLUS all the drinking Panera you want.
But I had a great time. It was nice to be in the city, to see people and life. AND to eat LuLu's noodles and to steal books entirely in Japanese from the Pitt Japanese profs. I also stole a set of books to teach English. And Pitt Japanese program info. Who knows.
I went and bought Martha Wainwright's CD tonight. I haven't had new music in a while, so I said what the heck. I'll splurge. And it's fun. I don't know who to relate her to. So I won't try. OKAY now it's time to go before my work week begins. Every day YAY.
