I'm sitting here listening to my new music (I'm so behind), so here's a review.
The Wonder Girls' and 2PM will be in Washington DC this summer doing a concert, so of course they've released a new song in English, 2 Different Tears, as well as rereleases of some of their popular songs in English versions. Not gonna lie, I wish this were a better offer then what I've been given, so that it could give me motivation to do the 4 hour drive to DC for the weekend, but no good.
2 Different Tears: It sounds like a slower version of Nobody, I got confused and actually thought it was Nobody when I was listening to it. The problem is it's not as great as Nobody.
So Hot: It's a little better, but still the same thing. No real innovation which if unfortuanate because they don't have bad voices.
Tell Me: Probably my favorite song off this single, it doesn't sound like a rehash of Nobody. I kind of wish they had led with this song instead of sitting comfortably on prior success.
2 Different Tears (Remix): Discoers get ready it's a flash back, not as obvious as NEWS' Koi no ABO, but definitely fun and I'll probably listen to it more then the regular cut.
Overall, It's kind of sad that the songs are overall very weak, because the Wonder Girls are really talented vocally and don't rely heavily on autotune which is nice and gives their songs a fuller quality.
