I got selected to serve jury duty in Kenton County. I'll be on call for 3 months. I'm not exactly sure how the whole system works. A couple of my coworkers are on jury duty and told me that you have to call after 4:30 every day to see if you are needed the next day. Maybe this will add some excitement into my life. I can't exactly say that I have an exciting job. When you throw in some psych patients that can stir things up but they get old after awhile. For two days I had a paranoid, hallucinating woman who thought she was a Keebler elf. Why she was on an oncology unit is beyond me, but the hospital was pretty full from what I understand. Cancer patients and schizo patients (or should I say elves) are always an interesting mix. I always wanted to give mental health nursing a try but it looks like I get my share right where I am.
