It's so quite outside when I go have a smoke. I'm so used to hearing talking, yelling, and splashing since our building is next to the pool. Now all I hear is the traffic from 71 and the birds chirping. It's just another reminder that summer is over and the transition to cooler weather is well on it's way. I wish it would stay this nice all the time, but it's Ohio. That will never happen. I'm hoping that we won't have a bad winter. I saw somewhere that it's going to be fairly dry. I wouldn't mind if we had a repeat of last winter. It wasn't too bad. I think there were only 2 days of snowfall bad enough to cancel schools.
My weekend alternated between studying and hanging out with friends and drinking. On both Friday and Saturday night, we had friends over. I'm taking a break from going out. It costs money and I have to conserve every penny I have. I decided it would be a good idea to have my ass smacked as hard as possible on Friday after many drinks. It appears I have no feeling for pain when I drink because I eventually got my ass beat up. Maybe I should join a fight club. A full force smack to the ass is nothing when under the influence, however I woke up the next morning sore as hell and my ass was purple. Dark purple. It's feeling much better today although it's still pretty ugly. I've been applying heat to it with my Maine "lobsta" heating lobster. How cute. Last night was a little more quite than Friday. I didn't wake up with a pounding headache. Instead, I woke up to the wonderful smell of bruch being cooked.

athenapitiesyou made pancakes, bacon, and eggs. I only had half a pancake and a piece of bacon, but I enjoyed every bite. I'm also enjoying the chocolate cookies that Trip made. I keep taking small pieces and trying to savor every bite otherwise I'll kill the whole bag. So far it's working.
I've been reading my OB material this afternoon. I'm getting a little burnt out so I'm going to work on some med-surg stuff soon. I have a lot of homework for tomorrow, however I've been spacing it out over the past 3 days so I don't have too much. I have both classes all day tomorrow and the thought of sitting through one for 3 hours and the other for 2 makes me want to light myself on fire, especially since I the one begins at 8:30. This means that I have to leave my place at 7:30 in case of any traffic on 71. Plus, there are more students than there are seats. I want to find a decent place to sit.
Amazing Race starts tonight! I'm stoked. It's one the few shows that I follow. So now I must get back to homework so I can watch it.
