Somewhere this past week between the food poisoning, the pinched nerve, the eye infection, the debate in Anthropology, the midterm in Marine Science, taking half a Japanese test, the two essays due in Linguistics, meeting with the Japanese ambassador, and one long-ass paper for Anthropology again, PLUS WORK, I almost threw the towel in. I admit it, I'm lazy, and the thought of that much productivity terrifies me. Unless I can, you know, slap on an eyepatch and jump on a shinkansen to finish all my schoolwork in Tokyo without any sleep for three days -- then, it's fun.
At least this past week has been incredibly warm -- 35F high almost every day! That's like t-shirt weather, guys!! BUT we're looking at some negatives again next week, alas...Please tell me, why does anyone want to live in Fairbanks, Alaska? Because I sure as hell can't come up with a good reason right now, and I AM living in Fairbanks, Alaska. Although I have to admit, nothing went better with that lunar eclipse than the still-frozen streets, parks, trees, and rooftops of right here :D
So not much new happening. Still don't know if I'm going to Whittier or something -- Meg was supposed to have her big doctor's appointment almost two weeks ago, but no one has written back to me or called. Then mom and Dana have been in Oregon for over a week checking out new houses, so I've had no news on that front...Gar, I know everyone's family is frustrating, but communication people!! We seem to lack the skills!!
Hmm...maybe I'll just pop the Wii on and play some Mario Galaxy....why oh why do I have to work on Saturdays?
