Title: Pirates of the Arisu
Genre: Alternate Universe, BL&Yaoi, Action&Adventure, Comedy/Crack, Slight Drama&Angst

Summary: Kohara Kazumasa had a dream to sail the seas and explore every bit of land he could. He shared that dream with Ogata Hiroto and made a promise to come back for him. Warnings: Sexy Shou in one hell of an eyepatch and mild language. XD

Prologue - 01 - 02 - 03

Hiroto grunted, grumbled, and griped as he carried his captain off to his cabin. He had never been into Shou's cabin, and he wasn't really interested. In the beginning, it was because he knew it was the captain's private cabin and nobody else's. It could have stuff that Hiroto shouldn't see in it. However, Tora, Nao, and Saga have often been invited to the captain's cabin and claimed that there wasn't much in there. Over time, he grew a little curious about what was inside. Then, as years passed, he grew to avoid the mere presence of the cabin because of Shou's sexual desires.

Now, after approximately six years, he was about to enter his worst nightmare.

Or so he thought.

Actually, the cabin was pretty plain. There was the Blood Blade resting in one corner, and then a small white bed. Hiroto sighed. It had been a long time since he rested in a bed. Of course Shou would have one--he is the captain, Hiroto mused to himself. Everyone else doesn't seem to mind either. They were content with their futons and hammocks. (It seemed that Tora preferred sleeping in a hammock than a Japanese mat.)

Shou had a desk to the far left--littered with several sheets of papers and maps. That was it. The cabin, basically put (and once again repeated), was pretty plain. Hiroto made his way towards the bed and dropped his captain onto the mattress before glancing at the comfortable-looking twin bed one more time. He pursed his lips.

Okay. He was tired. He just had to go back to the forecastle (AKA: the cabin in the front of the ship, where the crew lives) and sleep on his futon. It wasn't that big of a trip. Besides, the bed wasn't that luxurious or anything.

The thief gasped when he felt a cold hand grasp his wrist. Now that he thought about it, Shou swam in nearly ice cold water earlier. The captain could have been sick! Hiroto turned his head and found Shou's pleading blue eye begging him to stay. He didn't even have to talk--that was how well Hiroto understood the captain. He sighed before sitting down on the bed and being embraced by the taller man. He should at least share his body heat.

"Thank you," Hiroto muttered.

Shou raised an eyebrow.

"For saving me earlier," Hiroto responded, "on the island and on the ship. Shou, you might be a big pervert at times and a pirate at that, but you're really nice and all."

Shou chuckled. "I can't let you die. I won't be able to live with that fact for the rest of my life if I do," Shou stated clearly, resting his chin on the blonde's shoulder. "Hiroto... You're really warm." He wrapped his arms tighter around Hiroto's waist, pulling the smaller closer to his torso.

Hiroto squealed as they fell, resting their sides against the soft mattress. After a moment of silence, Hiroto was determined that Shou wasn't going to try anything weird, so he just closed his eyes and relaxed--listening to Shou's heartbeat and light breathing as his moist breath hit his bare skin.

Shou won today.

[MORNING]

"It's too bad we can't put the ship on auto-steer or something," Saga mused, "because I'm sure that Shou would have wanted to try out this new specialty of mine. Even though we're just heading south for a while longer, Shou really does have something against leaving the helm for more than three hours when we're heading straight."

Nao, Tora, and Hiroto exchanged bland expressions that clearly read "Lucky Shou." The captain was at the helm with only a basket of clean, fresh fruits while the others had to eat whatever meal Saga decided to cook up today. The curly haired blonde placed a plate with what appeared to be steak in front of the three. It actually looked decent, and Hiroto could feel that his mouth was watering. There was even a delightful smell coming from the meat.

"Dig in!" Saga chirped merrily.

The crew didn't waste any time and cautiously cut out their first piece before carefully placing it in their mouth.

"This is good!" Nao chirped. "Really good!"

Saga grinned, proud of the compliment.

Hiroto nodded soon after savoring the taste of meat.

"What is this?" Tora questioned.

"Cow brains. The island we just visited is a part of France after all. Cow brains are a delicacy--" Saga blinked at the sight of the three crewmen dashing away from the dining hall and up onto the main deck. Tora, Nao, and Hiroto lined up at the railing--hunched over--and vomited.

"I'm going to kill that bastard," Tora hissed. "Can't we contract a disease from eating nervous organs--" The tiger leaned over again. Shou watched from above, taking a bite from his apple, with a small chuckle. He really needed to change chefs. Could Nao cook? Nao lived alone for quite a while, after all. Then again, hadn't the pink haired pirate suggested cooking in place of Saga?

The captain shrugged the matter off.

[Night on the Quarterdeck; Shou's View]

Tora was currently steering the ship while I rested on my new hammock, gazing at the stars with my one eye. Would Hiroto raise his head and stargaze so then the promise would be fulfulled? Even if he did, it wouldn't be fulfilled since he would be looking at the stars with Shou--not Kazumasa. Nao, Saga, and Hiroto were currently occupying themselves with a poker game anyways, so there was no way Hiroto was going to look up at the sky when he was about to lose his chocolate coins.

"Nao-san, what's out there on Royale SuGizo anyways?" Saga questioned as he laid down his cards. "I have two pairs."

Nao smirked before slapping down his own cards. "Full house," he announced with his rarely seen smug expression. "Well, there's this rare treasure there called the blood gem that's said to enchance whatever weapon, equipment, or ship it touches. It can be found in the jungle--along with some other riches. Not only that, but there's this rumor..."

Hiroto blinked. "Rumor? About what?"

"A ghost ship," Nao responded before forcing Hiroto's hands down and gasping. Saga's eyes widened in complete astonishment.

I grinned before praising my thief, "Good job, Pon."

His cheeks flushed red before muttering, "R-Royal flush..."

Nao hummed before pushing his chocolate coins away from him and towards Hiroto. "Not bad, rookie," Nao mused before patting the squirrel's head. "Anyways, the ghost ship is the legendary Alice, or Arisu." I stopped breathing. "Even though it crashed on Japan, all of its remains magically floated to a coast of Royale SuGizo and stayed there for about six years. In addition, it's said to have rebuilt itself."

"Arisu?" Saga repeated with an arched eyebrow. "That incredible ship? The second fastest and strongest ship?" That's right. Arisu used to be the best ship sailing the seas until that attack broke its name and pushed it behind.

Hiroto scratched his head. "I think I've heard that name somewhere before..." I sighed. He still doesn't remember. Well, he did remember, but he's forgetful. It might take a while before it registered within his mind. "OH! It's that ship that little boy went on! ...But is that it to Royale SuGizo?"

"Nope. There's a king there. He's got a secret room that nobody has seen before--other than himself and his royal advisor. Do you know what that means?" Nao added. Hiroto's ears twitched--his thief and ninja instincts took over. How cute.

"Tora! Full speed ahead!" Hiroto sang merrily.

"You're not the captain. I don't have to listen to you," Tora retorted. A pout was once again painted on Hiroto's lips. "Hey, there's another ship. Do you want to--?"

"TO THE CANNON!" Hiroto cried. "NOTHING SHALL STAND IN OUR WAY!" The little one raced off to the lower deck where all of the gunports were. Tora sighed before palming his forehead. Nao merely giggled while Saga was smirking.

I suppose it was time to give directions before Hiroto fired the first shot. Standing up and walking away from my beloved hammock, I stretched and yawned. "Tora, stay here and protect the ship. I leave her in your capable hands since Pon's busy firing the cannons. Saga, Nao, back me up when we cross," I demanded. There was a strong, loud, and clear response of "YES SIR!" before thunder and lightning hit.

A cannonball left one of our cannons, but it didn't hit the ship.

Hiroto's very loud "GODDAMMIT ALL" was heard from below.

Everyone saw it clearly--a ship that disappeared--but I'm sure I was the only one who saw the name.

Arisu-san...

"Shit!" Tora cursed, waking us all up. "Looks like the god of the seas is pissed off! I'm losing control!" As the rain poured down, soaking us all, the three of us attempted to help Tora with the steering. By then, Hiroto's small footsteps were heard below--nearly drowned out by the storm.

"Hurricane?!" he questioned as he climbed aboard.

"It looks like it!" Nao replied before slipping--nearly falling off the watercraft.

"Nao-san!" Hiroto cried before scrambling onto the quarterdeck, dashing (a bit cautiously) towards the pink haired navigator. The thief helped his comrade stand up before letting out a yelp upon hearing the sea god's angry roar.

"HIROTO!" I screamed as the ship tilted. The two were awfully close the the edge, and a drastic angle such as this could cause them to fall overboard.

"KAZUMASA!" Hiroto shrieked as one hand was gripping Nao's and the other was stretched out towards me. I was about to let go of the wheel, but then a wave knocked us all over. A curse left my lips before I swallowed gallons of sea water.

As I swam, glancing left and right, I found that Tora and Saga were alright.

Where was Hiroto and Nao?!

[ELSEWHERE]

Shinpei sighed as he brushed Shousuke's creamy and silky fur while Takeru was busy taking a bath. The scent of vanilla filled the darkness along with its light, allowing the servant to have some comfort. The little bear cub resting on its velvet cushion let out a small moan.

"I'm scared, too, Shou-chan," Shinpei murmured, "really scared..."

Takeru stepped out of his personal bathroom in only a white robe and into his extravagant bedroom, causing Shinpei to gawk at his royal highness. His blonde hair clung to his fair skin, still glistening from the warm bathwater, his black eyes staring right at his friend. Shinpei found all of his blood rushing to his cheeks.

"Takeru-sama, if you were done, you could have told me--"

Takeru smiled. "It's fine. I can do it myself, you know? I have hands," Takeru reassured, "and, Shin-chan, I told you that it's fine to call me Takeru or 'Keru-kun when we're alone. Right now, it's just me, you, and Shou-chan."

Shinpei shyly returned that smile before saying, "You should probably dry yourself off then, Takeru-sa--" he stopped immediately before chuckling nervously and correcting himself. "Takeru."

Takeru grinned before nodding. He strode over to his Japanese room divider and lighting another candle on a nearby table. Shinpei gulped--clearing seeing Takeru's shadow take off the robe and wiping his figure clean and dry with a towel.

STOP, SHINPEI! HE'S A KING AND YOU'RE HIS SERVANT! Shinpei scolded himself. NO LEWD THOUGHTS!

The young king came back out, dressed in a light blue silk button down with matching pajama pants. He sighed, glancing out his large window before pulling the curtains shut.

"It's such a horrible storm," Takeru muttered. "Poseidon-san must really be angry... It saddens me to see a sight..." The king plopped onto his bed, fidgeting. Shousuke decided to hop into his lap, allowing Takeru to soothe the little bear. "Shousuke, do you get a feeling that something bad is happening out at sea?"

"Takeru-sama!" Masato cried, slamming open the double doors. "Pardon the intrusion, but we've got ourselves some travelers washed ashore! The general managed to secure the gunman of the crew. Currently, the foreigner is drying himself off as we speak since Sergeant Kazuki of Platoon 1313 told him to clean up. Captain Byou is at his door, assisted by Lieutenant Manabu. Privates Rui and Jin are currently patrolling the area--searching for any other travelers."

Shinpei stared wide-eyed at the royal advisor before stealing at glance at Takeru, who merely sighed.

"Why did I say that? I jinxed them, didn't I, Shousuke? I jinxed a pirate," Takeru muttered, nuzzling his pet and best friend.

[SHOU]
"Royale SuGizo..." Nao murmured across from me and under Saga and Tora. I was surprised that he wasn't crushed by the wave and the two on top of him. I might have underestimated his lung capabilities. I glanced around, scanning my eyes over every surface and around every corner...

"Hiroto..." I murmured. "Where are you...? Hiroto..."

Standing up, I pulled Saga off Tora and Tora off Nao.

"Before we do anything related to treasure hunting and piracy, we need to find Pon," I announced firmly.

Tora smirked. "I don't need you to tell me that, Captain. In fact, we all don't. Pon's my little brother from the moment we met. What kind of big brother would I be if I ditched him? Also, he tried to save Nao-san, and he helped Saga improve his aim. We all owe him something--one way or another. We're definitely not leaving the kid behind," Tora responded.

I smiled.

I pick out my crew nicely.

A/N: I can be so cruel...
