I open out my wings of glass
Up and towards the wind melted future
So just please don't go
(Oh) Please don't go

[Scene 1]
"I think they staged that whole thing just to make Versailles Pharmacy look even better."
"I heard that they did stage it."
"But the parents died, didn't they?"
"Yet the little girl lived!"
"Wasn't there a doctor who's related to the president?"
A loud "ahem" ceased the venomous whispers. Slowly, the nurses turned their heads around with dread and apprehension painted clearly on their faces. The words "Oh shit, I'm screwed" filled their eyes perfectly although Yuki had not said a single word yet. Already, he could tell that they were begging for their lives (or their jobs in this case) since Yuki was the top doctor in the building (and will continue to do so for years and years to come). Because Yuki was, indeed, the top doctor, he was one of the president's (of the hospital) favorites.
"What are you doing there dilly-dallying? Hurry up and get to work. This is the busiest hour of the day, is it not?" Yuki hissed. The nurses gulped before yelping "yes sir!" and power-walking to their locations. Yuki rolled his eyes when they were out of sight.
He felt Tsubaki squeeze his hand gently in fear of what was to come. It had seemed that nobody in the hospital, other than Yuki, liked her. Or rather...they were afraid of her. Yuki told her not to worry and that it'll all be over soon. Tsubaki would get a cake, a new dress, and a party (not to mention a new family and home) while he would be erasing minds and rearranging memories in the hospital (barely making it in time for the champagne--possibly).
He patted her head gently with his free hand, stroking her soft silk strands of hair. Her black locks weaved in and out of his hands like a stream. Her ghostly pale skin had not a single scratch from the car accident. Her bright brown eyes had the lightest tint of crimson in the sunlight. Her little fangs were about to grow out, too. Today, at noon, would be her third day as a vampire, and she was welcomed into their clan.
"Don't worry. Your papa will be here soon," Yuki assured her. She was to be taken to Kamijo's villa in Sapporo at twelve, the start of noon, while her room was being constructed at the Tokyo mansion. The moment it strikes a minute past 12, Yuki would begin his work. At six, the start of the evening, the party would begin, and Yuki would have to rush to Sapporo.
Everything was planned out percisely and perfectly all for Versailles Pharmacy. They had selected this girl out of many in Tokyo and caused her family to wreck in an accident. They were to die instantly, but the girl was to be whisked away to a hospital. Yuki was to be in her emergency room. The lights would flicker, and Yuki would convert her then. Everything turned out perfectly.
Unfortunately, she did not remember her biological parents after the crash. That was alright. It was not a set back in their plans. All she had to do was be the fifth member of the head branch and possibly be Jasmine You's doll. Teru and Yuki both hoped this was not the case. (They did not know what Hizaki had thought.) Jasmine You would never possess a young girl, nor would she replace Jasmine You. She was to get a new chair; Jasmine You's chair would be placed in the memorial room. She was to get a new room; Jasmine You's room would be locked up for memories.
So on and so forth.
"Come on, let's take you to your room," Yuki suggested.
[Scene 2]
It had been two days. Bou was deprived of food for two days. He was deprived of sleep for two days. Although he had been sitting in the same spot for hours and hours and ages and ages, he could not sleep for what was to come. They had done nothing yet. They hadn't even made a ransom call or anything. They just tied him up and locked him up in a small room with only a bed. He couldn't relax though.
Three men. One was a big, muscle man--about the size of a gorilla. One had "the best hair" in Harajuku--a modern mullet dyed blonde and brown from what Bou could see. One was extremely skinny--like a twig only with teeth and eyes. These were also the descriptions on the internet about the Kaitou brothers. A trio of rapists. A trio of cowards. A trio of lovesick, starving men--who are very desperate because they don't even bother to learn if who they're about to fuck with is a man or a woman.
The door slammed open and in came the big one with a chicken leg in his mouth. At the sight of food, his stomach growled...loudly. The man smirked before bursting with laughter.
"You're hungry! Don't worry about a thing! We'll feed you soon!"
Hearing that, Bou's face flushed with happiness...until he realized that there were many definitations/ways to use feed. He clenched his jaw to prevent a whimper from creeping out. He nearly teared up. Although he had already lost his virginty, he did not want to satisfy them. He only wanted Kyo. Just Kyo. He held his head before hearing three different screams and cries for help.
The door was knocked down.
Kyo stood in front of him with another man accompanying him.
[Scene 3]
(A few minutes earlier.)
"So it took you a whole day to rest up before saving your victim?" Ruki mused. "What kind of sick man does that? Oh--don't even answer. Normally, one would rush off to the rescue and appear as a hero."
Kyo rolled his eyes as they continued walking towards the warehouse. "I don't want to be a hero. I just want to get that damned model back before it costs me my job--both of them, I guess. Anyways, the boss wouldn't be too happy if he found out that I didn't plan Bou's death--that it was completely accidental." Ruki raised an eyebrow at the last word. Would that be an appropriate word? Accidental? He doubt it. For years and years, he had lived an honest man who heard and saw everything. For years and years, he had not bothered to understand humans--especially criminals.
He was most likely never going to start after speaking with Kyo.
"Oi, Ruki, pass me my weapons."
"You get a kitchen knife, a silent automatic pistol, and wire that cuts through skin, flesh, and bone. Sorry for being last minute, and I couldn't get you the sack that Jasmine You apparently gave you," Ruki replied. Kyo paused.
"Jasmine You? Apparently? What? Ugh, wait--nevermind. Tell me later."
"Come to the party at six then. It's in Sapporo. You'll find me there. After six, I'm no longer your shadow. You'll get paid by six--in full. By six, we're certain that your job is completed." Kyo furrowed his eyebrows.
"That quick?"
Ruki responded with a face of astonishment, "You already have an idea in your head, don't you? Aren't you going to use it?"
"Of course. I've had it for a while now. I've even told Teru about it. Didn't you hear? You're like some almighty ninja or spy or whatever."
"I heard."
Kyo sighed before putting on his best smirk.
"Then let's get started on painting. We're going to need some blood first. Oh wait. There's three bodies I can use in there, huh?" Kyo thought out loud. He caught sight of a dark haired and handsome man (dressed in a worker's uniform from another warehouse) leaving behind a chainsaw. An evil, sadistic grin curved onto his lips. "Ruki, you hold onto the knife, the gun, and the wire for me, okay?" He ran over to the chainsaw in joy before yanking the chord a few times.
There was a roar in the air before it was followed by screams.
Blood spilled beneath his feet. The three were too slow. Heads rolled here and there. Fingers were thrown here and there. Feet, legs, and arms were just lying on the floor without a single purpose. There was even a tongue on the ground.
How was he to get the princess out of here without seeing the mess?
But, by the time that he had kicked open the door, it didn't matter anymore. He just had to get Bou out. A head of layered blonde hair shot up, eyes as wide as the moon--skin as pale as the moon, too. It looked as if he had been crying. Kyo just had to smirk.
"Miss me?" he mused.
[Scene 4]
They sat silently at the table in the family restaurant. Kyo glanced at the clock. Ten o'clock in the morning.
"Thank you...for saving me," Bou whispered softly. He rubbed his eyes, trying to get rid of the upcoming tears. Kyo smirked.
"You didn't expect it to happen, huh?"
"It was a whole day. I was getting scared."
"Still... There have been cases where the person was held captive and tortured for three months or so. At least you didn't die there by them," Kyo responded. Bou nodded before sniffing. A pearl-like tear sliding down his cheeks. Even when he cried, he was like a princess. "You still don't mind getting killed by me?"
Bou shook his head furiously. "Not at all! If anything, I would be delighted because then I know you thought of me!" he cried. Kyo's smirk slid off his lips as the next words came, "Actually, you have to promise me that you won't get caught. If you get caught, you'll be sentenced for death. My friend was studying for his lawyer test a while back, and he was reading the material out loud. Kyo-san, I want you to live as long as you can because there's so much waiting for you."
Kyo stayed silent for a moment longer before nodding.
"Alright. Then you promise me that you'll wear a kimono later."
Bou tilted his head to the side before nodding with a smile. Their food arrived to the table. At the sight, Bou scarfed down his plate before gulping down the cold, fizzy drinks. After finishing and becoming content, a hiccup left his lips. Kyo laughed as the model's cheeks reddened.
"How cute," Kyo commented before standing up and patting his head. "Come on, let's go home, Neko-chan. We had a promise." By the time they arrived home, it was eleven. Bou bathed and slipped into his kimono after drying his hair, etc. Kyo really didn't see the need for a bath, however, since he was going to get dirty soon after (but, then again, Bou didn't know what was happening).
The last moments were always the best for these rich bloods. Bou crept out of the bathroom before being embraced. A prince-like kiss was placed upon his lips.
"K-K-Kyo-san?"
"Hai~" he purred before wetting his lips. Bou gulped.
What a seductive man.
"We can't! There's a photo shoot--"
"You're stressing. We have two hours to kill."
[Scene 4]
Hiroto moaned before opening his eyes. It was thirty minutes past two. They only had an hour left. Rubbing his bruised arms, the younger brother crept out of bed, feeling the wet floor beneath his feet. He slipped on his boxers before shaking his brother.
"Nii-san~ Nii-san~ We have to go visit Antique Café like we usually do now or we won't be very good regulars~" he chimed. Tora's eyes fluttered before waking up to his ceiling. He sighed before turning on his side, facing his brother's brown eyes.
"Can't I have five minutes, Pon?"
"Nope!" Hiroto chirped. "I heard that Nao-san is having a milk tea special!"
Suddenly, the phone rang. Groggily, Tora answered his cell phone with a grumpy "hello?"
"Something terrible has happened!" Reita cried on the other end. "Bou-san and Kyo-san were caught in a car accident!"
Tora screeched, "WHAT?!" Hiroto winced.
"Everyone's at the hospital! They said that they were getting back from a shoot and to prepare their usuals ahead of time, but then a mad truck driver pushed the accelerator instead of brakes at the red light! On the seat, there was an Uroboros sign in marker, too!"
Tora narrowed his eyes.
"Would that be considered an accident then?"
Someone had passed away. The college student had done some researching about these Uroboros killings, and he wasn't exactly pleased by them.
[Scene 5]
"Wasn't that a bit reckless, Kyo-san?" Yuki mumbled although he was quite amused that the assassin would go that far to kill someone. Kyo glared at the white wall across from him. He had landed himself in a hospital. At one side of the room was Teru, Hizaki, and Yuki. On the other side was Ruki and Mao, that hobo/temporary shadow from before.
"But now....he's one of us," Ruki muttered at the side.
"Bou did say that he wanted me to live as long as I could," Kyo retorted lightly. The joke was pushed aside as everyone stared in silence at the new vampire. His tongue slid over his new bloodsucking fangs before he grinned and waved everyone off. "So I can't walk in daylight now! So what?"
"...that's a stereotype, Kyo," Teru mentioned.
"That would explain a lot of things," Kyo murmured to himself. He was wondering why Kamijo approached him in the middle of the day if he was a vampire, and how/why Teru was out at the park painting, etc. etc.
"It was a rather ingenius idea though," Hizaki whispered.
While they were returning from their shoot, Mao would arrive at the same time at full speed and start a collision strong enough for everyone to hit their heads on the back of the seat, including Kyo. At that moment, when the explosion occurred, Ruki would sneak in, draw blood from Bou, and scribble the uroboros onto the seat. They would be whisked to the hospital and Kyo would be saved there--with Yuki as the doctor. The lights would flicker and flash--causing a temporary power outage--and Yuki would donate his vampiric blood to Kyo.
After all, Kyo could not and will not die.
It was nearly the same idea as Kamijo had for Tsubaki and her parents.
"So we should all head to Sapporo now, huh?" Kyo suggested. "On the way, you could delight me with some stories about Jasmine You. I assume he's the start of everything."
The doors slid open. A young girl ambled into the room. "Tsubaki!" Yuki and Teru cried in unison.
"Uncle Jasmine was the start of everything. He told me himself," Tsubaki chirped with a smile. "He said that he had to die to prove his point--that his family was slowly losing power. He wanted them to find it, the elixir of immortality. He says that elixir is not everlasting though, but it'll keep us alive for centuries and eons to come. Yuki-sensei tried to save him in his last minutes, but it was too late. He came back for a bit to help us though! The elixir is now completed, so he'll rest for a while until we need him again."
There was a still silence.
"Aren't you supposed to be in Sapporo?" Kyo brought up. He had been told that Kamijo took in a little girl to be his own daughter, and that the demon and his child had flown off to Sapporo before the others.
"Daddy came back to visit you," she answered. Footsteps followed, and a tall figure stood at the door. He smiled, gladly displaying his proud fangs for all to see. His glowering eyes stared everyone down as they all bowed to him. Kyo nodded his head and Kamijo returned his greeting.
"Shall we all head to the villa together?" Kamijo questioned. Everything was completed. Everything was finished. Everything had gone exactly to plan. "We've the cake and the champagne. Everything is set."
The door opened, only to reveal a short haired brunet.
"My name is Rame, and I was wondering how Kyo-san is going to live from now on. How can I be of assistance?"
He smiled and revealed a pair of fangs himself.
[Aftermath]
Saga's case, in the end, was cancelled due to so many dead ends. Perhaps the government was hiding more secrets than they had thought, or perhaps there are hidden secrets in society itself that humans did not need to know. Byou, however, was quite glad that Saga wasn't working anymore. The male prostitute even got his way with the young policeman--sometimes though.
Tora's cake turned out quite pleasant from the president's words. Uruha's selected wine was indeed fantastic. Both were pleased with their rewards. They didn't have the motivation to spend it, however. There were three deaths in one year that was connected to all of them. It was the most horrid year in their whole life.
Two whole years have passed, and Kyo was yet to be seen or heard from. Rame seemed to have taken his place as a regular though. Life for the employees of Antique Café and Kyouki's Bar were slowly returning to normal. The room for the president's daughter was completed, and there was a silent peace that shortly followed.
Within the café, it was closing time. Reita was busy managing the cash register while Nao was polishing his beloved coffee maker. Kai was in the back, finishing the dishes. In the background, you could hear a soft ballad playing on VK9 FM. For some reason, Aoi had donated his old radio to them. He insisted that he had gotten a newer radio and that the old one took up too much room in his apartment.
"Tora-nii, Reita-san, Kai-san, Nao-san... Kyo-san didn't die, right?" Hiroto questioned, "He just...disappeared..."
"Why are you bringing that up?" Reita snapped. He didn't really want to hear about Kyo. Everyone, though a bit afraid of him at times, was pretty decent friends with him. He even became a regular, after all. Unfortuantely, because of his disappearence, there have been rumors of his death as well. After all, he was pretty close with Shou, Jui, and Bou.
"...It just occurred to me... Life when Kyo-san was here was...hellish. Everyone died at that time."
"Hiroto-kun!" Rame chided, "You shouldn't be thinking like that! Shou-san, Jui-san, and Bou-san are frowning in heaven because you bunch are not happy! They want to see smiling faces even after they die!"
"I don't know why I brought it up... I just...got this feeling."
At that, the bells rung, and Kai stepped out to the front to greet the customer.
"Welcome to Antique Café, I'm sorry but the shop is cl--!?" Kai stopped immediately. Everyone turned around and found that his hair had been dyed to a golden brown. His clothes were neater than before, and much fancier and stylish. His eyes, however, were much more solemn.
"Kyo-san?"
