wasting money is what i do best...
one example is the airline ticket (well it's not a ticket anymore...) that will expire this summer... i don't remember what date exactly... i'll have to call delta... here's what happened:
the spring break before last, i was supposed to go to miami with a couple of friends, but at the last minute, my parents decided that i couldn't go... we had bought the tickets and everything already... and because i wasn't going, my friends didn't go either, so then i felt guilty that not only did i waste my own money, but my friend's money, too... i suck right...
so last summer i was supposed to go to new your city with two friends... one was a friend who was going to miami... we called delt and said that the usused tickets could be used as credit towards tickets purchased within one year of the flight... so that was kinda good, even though they take keep a certain percentage of the ticket... kinda like a cancellation thing... idk... so... i held off on buying my tickets for a while because my parents were being mean and didn't want me to go and spend money for a week in nyc... i mean sure, i'd have enough for hotel and transportation... but i probably would have ended up with not enough money to buy food... like i need food anyway... so... my parents didn't feel like helping me out and pretty much told me that i couldn't go. so i went ahead and used the credits from miami to get a ticket for just the weekend that my friends would be there. i was so totally ready to drive myself to the airport and dissappear from tuscaloosa for the weekend, when i called my friends and they talked me out of it... something about getting into more trouble with my parents... blah blah blah... i was kinda upset that they didn't think it was as good of an idea as i thought it was... but then again they are more responsible and less cavaleir than i am.
anywho... i've lost my train of thought... some customers came to the window...
um... so i've spent a whole lot of money on an airline ticket that is not actually worth what i have paid for it and the destination at the moment is nowhere... and i have no idea when it expires... yeah...
so.... i also waste money on lots of other things... credit card interest... overdraft fees on my checking account... food that i never eat... driving around aimlessly when i feel glum and need to cheer up... clothes that i never wear... and the list could go on...
