Miiiiine!
Had a pretty poo night last night, and my mum got me the coolest present to cheer me up!
Iv been after this for so long, and has been impossible to get hold of, even on Ebay. They always seem to have non-english versions and im never sure about dvd regions so I dont bother. But the one my mum got looks like a completely new release. Last one in the shop apparently as well! Meant to be mine!!
Cant wait to watch it, its gonna bring back so many memories, as it was always one of my favourite films when I was really young. Shouldnt have watched it, as its an 18 but never mind!
Its basically a macabre version of the original Little Red Riding hood fairy tale, with a werewolf and Angela Landsbury as the grandmother. Little red is warned against men whos eyebrows meet in the middle, as this is a sure sign of them being a werewolf, but is later seduced by a lone 'man' in the woods who instantly falls in love with her.

Theres a twisted bit right at the beginning, in modern times where the main girl falls alseep to enter the fairy tale world and all her toys come alive, and grow really big. Also some great scenes with wolves running through the woods.
Its SOOOOO cool, cant wait to watch it now!
Mum also picked me up a copy of Nightmare Before Christmas, cant believe I hadnt bought a copy yet. Pah!
