This is also this: http://www.natural-wisdom.com/about.htm. I wonder if this book is worth it. It sounds like a good thing to try. Has it taken up much time from you? I have been able to guess before he goes potty many times. Since he is at his 2 week milestone he may be ready. Did you buy a book?
We got Infant Potty Training by Laurie Boucke from the Oakland public library. I've heard both books are good, though I haven't read Ingrid's book. I hear IPT is more of a how-to for people who are already convinced to try it and Ingrid's book is better for people who aren't yet convinced that they want to try it.
It does take time, but then again, so do diaper changes. If you take a non-stress approach where you try to communicate when you can and just don't worry about the rest of the times (they sure do pee often!) then I think there's no harm in giving it a shot. I end up paying a lot of attention to her, which I see as a good thing. :-) From what people have said, EC takes more time than diapering in the beginning, but after a while it takes less time, and they're usually potty trained much earlier than traditional training.
As for age, I hear you can start any time from birth to 4 months without much difference.
I'm also on the yahoo EC group. It is super high-volume, though, and I don't have time now to keep up with it.

Another useful resource has been our local EC group, so if you can find one near you, I'd recommend trying to go to a meeting.
And soon, maybe Aria, Xavier, and Tovar can work on learning together. :-)
