Sooo exhausted. Just got back from the show. All went well. Everyone seemed to like it. I got lots of "You were adorable" and "Very funny", which are great things to hear. Picked up script for next show, Love and Hate in Shakespeare. This one I am excited and terrified to start. They're still figuring all the parts out, but the one I know for sure is Lady Macbeth. Now for the very few of you who know me in real life and know the types of parts I tend to get cast as, Lady Macbeth is not typically one of them. I'm usually the comic relief, quirky, sarcastic, cute, funny, whatever you want to call it. Even at the auditions, the director wrote on my resume "very funny". The Lady Macbeth portions I'll be doing are all intense moments. It's wonderful to work with a director who can see beyond "types", I just don't want to let him down!
