Stop the madness, please
I was driving to work today, singing along to one of my favorite songs, when the announcer on Phoenix station 99.9 KEZ announces cheerfully at the end of the song, "In honor of the release of the movie Annie, 99.9 KEZ will switch over to all Christmas music starting tomorrow."
WHAAAAAAT? They do realize that tomorrow is only November 13, right? That Thanksgiving is still 2 weeks away, right? That while some abnormal people have already finished their shopping and wrapping some of us are still scraping together the money to start, right? I'm not ready to listen to "Sleigh Ride" and "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" (especially in a city where it's still 85 degrees during the day) yet!!!!
Well, time to find another station that is a bit more rational for now...
