Australia qualify for the World Cup of Football!

One of the greatest soccer matches i've seen!  In front of 82 000 people the Aussies took revenge on Uruguay who knocked them out at the same, final stage of qualifying four years ago.

I wish I understood soccer (I thought you called it football there? o.X).

At the least, there is a /ton/ of energy in that crowd. Amazing.

Hehe, one of the easiest games to understand, kick the ball into the net. I think it's universally played by little people as sport, it's just so easy to pick up and play. So fun as well.

We've officially called the sport Football now, the decision was made this year, previous to that it was called Soccer because of the amount of sports that exist, already called Football.

ya, i've saved you from those awkward social situations that you may have been caught in whilst naming the sport 'soccer' instead of 'football'. Go Team Bui!

Ah, so it's kind of a transition phase right now for calling soccer football over there.

Oh gosh, by universally played by little people do you mean people with dwarfism? O.x

I used to play soccer when I was in elementary school, but it was so frustrating not being able to just follow the ball instead of having to play particular positions, etc.. I hated restricting myself to half the field. Plus I got yelled at by my coach for misunderstanding him a lot. Not fun. Haven't played since.

I always like social soccer, it's just funny being 1 of 20 people running after the ball instead of it being organised :P

With little people I did mean kids, but I reckon dwarves enjoy it too.
