She says "wake up, it's no use pretending"
I'll keep stealing, breathing her
Birds are leaving over autumn's ending
One of us will die inside these arms
Eyes wide open, naked as we came
One will spread our ashes round the yard
She says "if I leave before you, darling
Don't you waste me in the ground"
I lay smiling like our sleeping children
One of us will die inside these arms
Eyes wide open, naked as we came
One will spread our ashes round the yard
This is one of the prettiest songs i've heard in a while and i've been listening to it over and over for a while now. I finally got my hands on the album and it's quite lovely too. I ripped it at a bit of a dodgy bitrate, for size purposes and so that you'll end up getting so annoyed with the quality you'll get the cd.

My university results came out and I did really well. I was suprised when I saw them, four distinctions. Very happy, yet I feel guilty, because it felt like I didn't do much work at all. First Semester, First Year. Don't get your hopes up Kim.
I just watched Ghost Dog - The Way of the Samurai on dvd, starring Forrest Whittaker. Very good movie. I loved the communication themes, like how Ghost Dog (Forrest) had a best friend who didn't even speak the same language as him, but they could still understand eachother and relate. This week, I also watched Far From Heaven (good, had some themes like people who are outcasts and how they cope, like inter-racial and gayrelationships and I still think Julianne Moore is the most beautiful woman in Hollywood), The Royal Tennenbaums (was okay, Rushmore was probably better for me.) and Stigmata (kinda scary movie with an underline conspiracy theory about the church. was pretty good. Particia Arquette is maybe the second most beautiful woman in the movies? :P). A bit of a holiday $1 dvd weekly rental thing.
Both our phone lines went down, so there was no home phone or internet happening for 3-4 days. Telstra were pretty okay and pretty bad with the whole situation. The contractor that came over and fixed it was nice, the call-centre people were horrible. One hung up on my sister.
I love holidays and freedom. The way it should be. I kinda wish sometimes that life was like it was back in the caveman times. Simple. We would play drums with dinosaur bones, strum guitars made out of stone and Rolf Harris would be there in the background waving his piece of metal singing "Tie me Early Evolution of Man down sport, Tie me Early Man Down!"
