little rant
Cell phones...
I think they are great and a useful tool.
However, I think a lot of people missuse them and use them at inappropriate times.
I work in an office where I help the public.
If you are in line and you are on the phone please end your call before you are the next person in line so that when an operator is ready to help you, you will be able to hear them call you. Thanks.
If you are at my desk and I am in the middle of helping you or explaining something to you and your cell phone rings, please do not put your finger up to signify that you will only be a second and proceed to answer your phone. Thanks
If you answer your cell phone while I'm helping you, I will keep talking and if you miss what I am saying then that's too bad isn't it.
And lastly. If you are a friend or a relative of the person I am helping and you are on the phone please go and chat somewhere else. Thanks.
