Lost
So we get a Michael and Walt back story. I didn’t find it too revealing, kind of like they just added it in there. Little Walt was pretty adorable though.
I know Michael is upset about Walt but he was pissing me off with his attitude and blaming Sawyer. I guess it’s just part of the grief. Sawyer was being a snarky jack-ass like usual.
Shark! Kinda cheesy but interesting. Did you notice that the shark had the symbol that is all over Desmond’s hatch on it? I didn’t either but someone mentioned it on a message board last night and I checked it. Weird.
I really enjoyed seeing the hatch scenes of Locke and Kate. Locke is strange and I love him.
Other than the new hatch scenes and Michael’s back story nothing major happened until the end. They drift back to the island. Better than being shark bait.
Jin shouting “others” was creepy. Then a group of people advancing on them with crudely crafted weapons. Ahhhh.
I think I’m going end each LOST post with a sort of re-cap of the mysteries of the week. I’m sure there are more questions and some of them will probably be answered in the upcoming episodes.
- Desmond: “Are you him?” Who’s him?
- The beeping, the countdown sort of thing and the number 108 and the entering of the numbers into the computer
- The “Dharma” symbol
- Why does the shark have that symbol on it?
- Does Desmond recognize Jack?
- Where’s Walt?
Veronica Mars
I really love the season premiere. It was a little jam packed with stuff and I got a little confused in some parts but it worked well as a bring us up to speed episode while also including a mystery of the week.
I’m, guessing the mystery of the season will be who killed Felix and maybe we will learn more about the bus accident. That was a shocker of an ending. Sad.
I absolutely love Keith Mars and Wallace. Both of their relationships with Veronica are so well played and so loving and so so funny. Heee.
I was somewhat disturbed by the rift between Veronica and Weevil. I understand the reasons behind it but I always thought that there was more between them, I don’t mean romantically, just a strong bond. I was glad to see him go back and get Veronica on his bike. That gesture supports my thoughts on their bond.
Wow, that was a lot of ramble. It’s the premiere though and a lot happened.
Now I'm off to read what others thought. :)
