UCLA: Day fourteen
Today was interesting :) I had the first sessions for my other two classes, and I got there on time, but it was SO HOT outside, I nearly died x____x 113 degrees! >_<;; I definitely had wet spots under my armpits...
My first class was uneventful, really, and he speaks way too fast to take accurate notes. This will be interesting... I'm afraid the people next to me could see my sweat. Eiw!!! >_< Also, I've realized that you've gotta get there early. I need to be in one of the front 3 rows...
My second class was in a gigantic lecture hall. The class seems cool so far, except for the overly friendly guy named Kyle who sat next to me. XP Aaaaaaaannnddd the annoying fat dude from my orientation is also enrolled >_< I have to make it a point not to go anywhere near him... He'll latch on forever!!! Though I can watch that class on podcast, so if worse comes to worse, that's always an option...
After class I went back to the apartment. Since it was atrociously hot, I talked Q into coming over and swimming with me. The pool at my apartment was questionable, but it felt good nonetheless.
When we were done swimming, Q and I went to have dinner at a British pub/restaurant called Ye Olde King's Head. It was great food, though more expensive than advertised on UrbanSpoon. I bought crumpets in the gift shop then we walked down to the beach and got our toes wet. Q kept making Inception references in elevators, haha~
I came back to the apartment after that and finished my reading for tomorrow and helped Hung with his presentation for Wednesday. I really wish I could be there for him to practice with :( He'll be great, though. If it's meant to be, it'll happen :D
Oh! I also got 2 letters, one from Michelle, the other from Kari! Excites! Gotta write them back and send out Becca's package~ <333
Time for bed! Gonna try to get to class early tomorrow. I have a lot to do and I may even get to spend a little time with Mayra! :D
