I "won" $500 to Best Buy from my school. I say "won," when my name was drawn from...something...maybe a hat...
See, I took this Collegiate Learning Assessment~ CLA~ or something similar, and got the 500$ for that...how awesome is that!!!!
Sooo, now I get to decide what to spend it on :) :) :) I know I need a new phone & would like a new car stereo. That's as far as I've gotten. I'm thinking about so many things: a surprise for a great friend, something for my mom- but doesn't that seem kinda cheap? Or is it ok since I've wanted to do this, but just couldnt' afford it before? LoL I dunno...
So, got the gift cert. today... Had to take like 3 dozen pics with one of the deans and the other winner. Saw Howie-Mae... That was pretty funny... he told me how he & dawn insist they be there when i go ;-) hehehe i'll think about it. actually, i may go sometime tonight to look around, see what I find. I've been looking online, but I don't want to pay a bunch of service and shipping fees. So, we'll see what happens...
Must go... get off work soon & have class afterwards.
