Alright so, forever ago I read the first chapter to this, but RL got in the way, and I haven't had a chance to read this again- until now.

And I must say, it was so so so worth it. I absolutely adore this. Al and Scorpius are not these intense, angsty enemies and they're not really BFF's either. They're boys, teenage boys who are in situations very out of the ordinary and are coping with that as well as they can, and I think this story really captures it quite perfectly.

I was going to place some of my favorite quotes here, but then I realized I was practically quoting the whole story back at you! So this will have to do:

“I…” Al grinned, pausing, “dare you to act like you and Rose had a one night stand last night and you want another round. I want you to go all out with it, and don’t let on that’s it’s a joke or dare no matter how freaked out she or anyone else gets. And you have to make it good.”

“How good?”

“I’m the judge. Trust me, I’ll be fair.”

^That was absolutely brilliant- absolute lol.
