First book of 2010.

Because I'm a huge stickler about reading the book before seeing a movie when a book goes movie, I read The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sebold.

Pros:

1. Seriously interesting storyline. I was totally engrossed from start to finish.

2. Well-done prose. There were several passages which stood out as exceptionally beautiful or insightful

I read it about 3 or 4 years ago, and I loooved it. Well, if you can say you loved a book about the rape and murder of a 13 or 14 year old. You know. Though, wasn't Lindsay older than Susie?

No, Lindsey was a year younger, Susie was the oldest.

i watched the movie and it was reaaaallly good :)
i hated her killer sooo much like everyone was shouting at the screen cos everyone hated him and everyone was clapping when he died :D
i might read the book now thanks :)
