father's day and the whole shebang.

we had to pay a lot of bills out of one paycheck, so we ended up a little broke this two weeks. i was at a loss for what to do for father's day. so i found a poem about a little girl following in her daddy's footsteps and printed it out on some cardstock, bought some acrylic paint to paint paige's feet, and did her footprints below the poem. i

i felt awful because i'm the one who had to explain the situation! they really didn't care. they came over a few days later and i had the same $20 tacked to my bulletin board. ha.

ehhh, all i know about cna work is you wipe butts for not that much money. i barely want to wipe my own daughter's butt. i'm a wimp. i appreciate it a lot, though!

hey i finally have a job that gives me 4th of July off, so who is throwing the BBQ i'll help as much as I can. oh and nick is leaving for LA Thursday for 9 days so i'll be lonely come visit me!

well, bob works july 4th-6th, but he gets off at 6. maybe we could have an evening bbq (you know, 6:30-7) for dinner and then go see the fireworks/light some off.. or something. i'll see what bob says.
