my maid of honor speech went fine. the dj ended the reception with "i'm proud to be an american." bob and i got melissa and steve the magic bullet as a wedding gift, which was apparently a good choice. that goddamn infomercial gets everyone.
bob bought shorts AND a pair of sandals yesterday. i convinced him they're not "just for douchebags." i got a shirt i have been eyeing since it was $30 and i got it for $6.98. total bargain shark. we also put a pub-height kitchen table on layaway that i am very excited about. we'll have it in a few weeks.
so between weddings and our mini-shopping spree yesterday, i think all we've been doing is spending money. i've decided to get a job and put all the money in a savings account so we can get married. between the both of us plus (very) small donations from our families, it shouldn't take too long.
really, this internet was a bad idea. i have things to do.
