Got Game?
I started it.
I rearranged Alexander and Brenden's room. It looked way better (because it was CLEANED as it was rearranged) and now I have started a massive 'move my crib' event. Cassidy's room was given a clean up and shake up next. Then on Friday when I came home from work I was greeted by Jordan with a "Don't go downstairs, it's a mess...you're welcome." Uh oh. Jordan and Aiden share a room, so what ever changes are made, effect the other one directly. We ended up moving both beds, both dressers and bringing in 2 chairs on Jordan's side of the room as well as hooking up the spare TV and xbox into his area as well. The TV is older and not the best, but hey....his own TV, bonus! He is already asking for a better TV about every 4 minutes. I know Jordan! I know!
We had soccer games this morning for Brenden and Aiden. Brenden's team did well and won the game in the last 20 seconds for a score of 5-4. Very close game, great energy and excitement. The boys were very proud of themselves, as they should be. I love those close games, it makes it fun and exciting. Unlike those runaway games...such as Aiden's game that was lost with a 1-5 scoreboard. Now, while he's team lost... that doesn't mean that Aiden didn't have 'game'. During part of the game he was playing goalie, and the ball was kicked out of bounds just outside of the goal. Aiden ran to get the ball as his teammates and the other team waited for his return, however something caught his attention on the way back to the game.... Avery, Alayna and Kaylynn. While Aiden was getting his game on, the soccer game awaited. He was smiling and chatting away..."Aiden!" I called to him...."What?" he responded cluelessly.... I pointed to the field and said "let's go! the game!" ...'oh yeah, bye!' he called back as he ran back into play. Yeah, smooth Aiden, smooth.
Fact I have learned: Teenage boys multiply quickly. This afternoon I was leaving for the store with Alexander and Jordan's friend Travis was over. When I returned, there were 2 more friends that joined them. Jordan, Cade, Travis and Collin were all here playing xbox and ps3, then they all went outside to play football and basketball... then back in to game some more.... now we robbed a pizza joint for all their "dough" and are feeding them. Whew! And it's only 7pm on a Saturday!
