Well maybe not ack, but the worse day turned out to be VERY interesting.
Looks like the Bombay Company loves Julie.
The store manager Heather called me yesterday. I was just offered the MIT (Manager Trainee Position) there. I'll be making $12/hr..working 35-38 hrs per week (you all might get to see me more)...and receive manager commissions (there are monthly, quartly, and annually ones).
Location: 12 Oaks in Novi (approximatly 10-15 minutes from home..yay!)
I'm going to look into how much the appartment I'm in now will be if I go with their cable service (Comcast-std cable) and then see what my internet and phone might be per month...can we say hello competition phone calls.
I don't know yet what I'm going to do. This is sort of a no brainer because I really do like it at Bombay, but it's going to be a lot of work training and all.
People there have been talking about me for a month now and I'm being offered more then normal for this position...talk about having faith in me...weird.
I'm going to crunch the numbers to see if I can survive on those wages for I'd be loosing my OT...but gaining more sanity I think.
I also had an interview for dispatch in Sterling Heights on Friday, but haven't heard anything. Comcast has decided they don't pay their phone reps enough so we are getting raises that take effect from June 3.
Nice thing about Bombay...guaranteed a weekend off every month. Hello being able to for certain go to FH at least, maybe visit my family, and see people and have a life again.
Still...I know I'm excited right now, but I need to analyze this. It's been on the brain since the offer yesterday.
And to think the day started with me super irritated with myself because I got a speeding ticket.
