Weekend

Well it was a weekend...

Thurs was like the best night in a LOOONNNGGG time after I left the hell known as Comcast. I saw Lynette and I felt so very giddy and me. We went to Meijer and picked up Private Stock rum and Cherry Coke Zero to make rum and cokes. Then we headed to Taco Bell for dinner for by the time I gave her the tour of the place and we gabbed, hugged, and all it was about 1030ish before we both went food is a good thing.

We drank a bit and watched Elizabethtown on Showtime OnDemand. Not a bad movie...it was cute. Also watch Eragon over the weekend. That movie was alright. Smoking Aces I enjoyed, but I love Jeremy Piven and Ryan Renolds a lot. The worse movie of the bunch I watched over the weekend was Happy Feet..was sooo was not all that and a bag of chips. Cars was by far the better animated film of last year. Ah well.

I gave Lynette her birthday present for her birthday is the end of this month. Her awsome husband Charles mentioned she wanted an outdoor thermometer and well good old Target didn't let me down in finding the perfect one. She loved it and got a kick out of the present bag I put it in for I decorated it with pirate stickers.

She just so happened to have brought for me a certain pendant I have had my eye on. One Hardy Boyz pendant. I had so much fun. We went shopping for a bit on Friday. I found my bar stools at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They are 40 each and swivel, which I discovered is a requirement. I probably won't be buying them until sometime next month for first I need to purchase the futon frame. On that front I'm looking to see if Meijer will put this silver on on sale for it would tie in my appartment together nicely. Still looking for something over my computer desk, but that's life.

Bombay. Well folks this won't shock you. I made it through my first round of interviews just fine. My store manager loves me to death. Then again I made the store's daily sales goal both days I worked and both during the last hour of my shift. Saturday was in selling $300 of merchandise my last hour of work and today it was $835 with 10 minutes before the store closed. I will keep you all posted on how that goes.

I'll be surfing the internet this week to see if there are other things I would like to submit my resume to.

In closing, have I mentioned how much I love my fuzz balls? Achilles is probably the best soon-to-be cat in the world. He is my buddy, I sware. Lynette loves the kitties for they were extra adorable while she was here.

Anyway, figured I'd update you all now. My biggest problem right now is that I can't sleep through the night and I haven't figured out why yet. Hopefully that will happen soon enough.

*hugs*
