Tallahassee, Part Whatever

Nov 29, 2008 17:50

Today it rained. In the morning, we got professional photos taken in a park, and it wasn't raining then, but it was pouring by the end of the day.

After having our photos taken, Mom, Alan, and I drove up into Georgia to visit a plantation. It wasn't very interesting, though, because the original plantation burned down in 1934, so we were only seeing what was rebuilt in 1936. Bo-ring. The coolest thing about the plantation was a huge tree covered in Spanish moss. Very neat.

I have been informed that tonight we will be watching the recorded season finale of Dancing with the Stars. Oh the pain.

Tomorrow I go home. It's been a good visit, but I'm looking forward to seeing Shannon and the cats.
