Marching Song, Part 1/?
I wrote this for dealbreaker19 as a part of the SansaxSandor letter exchange. It blossomed from what was suppose to be one letter into a full blown
epistolary romance. This is the first letter of several letters.

Ah my beta was advising me to rein in the sap. I'm not sure I did such a great job. I love writing again but my style has always been so florid. Not so much in dialogue but in internal monologue, I guess I've always written what Sandor feels which is different than what he would actually say or even cognitate. So this letter format really pushes me creatively.

You don't know how happy that makes me to hear that! I really want to capture the passionate intensity of Sandor because what I love about him and Sansa is that seem to bleed "feels" in tumblr parlance.

Well I hope the strikethrough text was suggestive. They are not lovers officially but they've been together for awhile and have an unspoken, unacknowledged devotion. I always saw canoncial Sandor as a chatty guy with her, so that's why he goes on and on. The fact that it becomes rather sentimental towards the end I say is because he's really feeling blue and homesick and above all hungry (haha!). He thinks to cross out some of his thoughts that he deems too self-relavatory at this stage.
