we have a house! yes a house. not a unit, not a squeeze box, but a beautiful rustic old bungalow with big rooms and fireplaces and chimneys! and a backyard just the perfect size with a hills hoist and bamboo growing against the fence. and even better they let us sign a six month lease so we won't be tied down and if miss leigh so desires she can still move to london next year.
everything is happening at the moment. the house, my job, two imminent birthdays...
i am now working full time over december and january acting as the assistant community center coordinator. woohoo. mr uppal and his indian wedding in the ballroom shall be fun to assist with, and all the old dears that come to play mah-jong love me already. lots of people to meet and new things to learn, i love it!
and we are off to melbourne soon. next weekend we move house, then the weekend after that we're off to melbourne to salute the gallagher brothers, dine at soul mama, shop shop shop and just generally get trashy melbourne-styleee. hip hip hooray!
