Even tho I think America got it right this week, I was sad in a way to see Carmen go. There's no one else who I think should have gone instead, but it's still tough. Carmen has a lot of guts; she did well in standing up to a lot of criticism. She just doesn't yet have the training and experience that a lot of us have.
And now there's just five of us. And I will say that I feel like we are the best five. We are all strong, solid singers -- and all friends. (we don't even mind that Clay skipped out yesterday to spend Kelly's birthday with her. *blowing kisses to you two lovebirds*) From here on out... damn, it's gonna be extra hard, but I feel like I made another of my goals, to get to the top five. We'll be going into the studio this week to each record the single that's been written for us. Whoever wins will have the single released.
I'm in this thing to win, but with caliber of Clay, Josh, Trenyce, and Ruben, I won't be totally bent out of shape when I go, because they all have marvelous voices. Being beaten by any of them is no shame. But I'll still be doing my very best ;)
