Still cleaning off the playa . . . . .
Why is it the last little bits ALWAYS take so freaking long???
Let me tell you WHY. . . .
A) Monday night it was a hour long phone call after dinner. . .one made to me and I had to answer because I have someones keys and needed to coordinate to pass them off. . . .it took a bit of time. . . .
B) Last night after I had dinner and relaxed a bit I took my bins and a few other items outside to hose them off. I was thinking that since my phone was upstairs I'd be free from distraction.. . . .BUT NO, along comes one of my neighbors I've not seen in some time due to a change in his work schedule. . . . So we talked for a bit, then he was off to head home. Good to see him and I did finish hosing off the playa from my belongings. What I did not get done is sitting waiting for me tonight. . . . .after tonight, I just have to put all my stuff AWAY. . .
it is times like this that I wish I didn't have a 9-5 M-F job and/or that I had additional vacation available to take a bit more time off and get all this shit done in a few days instead of many evenings and a weekend or two. . . sigh. . .
