have i mentioned how much i really do not like fashion and clothing? i think that is really one reason i've grown to hate my job. before when i was overseeing the electronics/photo areas, it wasn't all that bad. i mean sure i had to deal with the pressure and insane expectations of working for a big box retail store.. but at least when i had opportunity to be in my own areas, it was merchandise that i liked. stuff that i used. stuff that i understood. it made it easier to deal with the customers, to teach and train the associates. but now.. being over the apparel areas... i despise it.. if you know me, then you know that i have no fashion sense whatsoever.. i hate clothes.. i hate shopping for them, i hate folding them.. it's very difficult to teach and train these associates how to keep the apparel area up to the company's standards.. not to mention the lack of support that goes with it.. i've always know that apparel areas never get the support they need.. yet it's supposed to be one of the biggest money makers in the store.. markup on apparel is HUGE!

well.. point to the rant.. i'm getting sick of the apparel area.. i'm afraid it's going to be my downfall.. i want electronics back.. i miss it so much!
