Nursing school is SERIOUS. I have at least 2 sizable-I'ma-fuck-up-your-world tests every week. After tests are taken, we go immediately into more lecture because there is not enough time to fit all the information in about which the professors want to talk . I sit and take notes, I go home and scramble study, I go to lab, and I go to work. I have discovered that I can drink beer and still get in some quality study-time. I learned how to effectively needle stab people 2 weeks ago; validations for effective needle stabbing are tomorrow. Wish me luck!
I get to learn how to insert catheters and give enemas on Friday. So much potential people torture! Monday I sat through a 3hr lecture dedicated to poop.
I can happily say I have been eating all but maybe three meals a week that did not come from home. Eating from home always keeps my diet veggie heavy, which rules.
Now time for more studying, beer, and eggplant!!!!
