The Eighth Doctor series finale

I can't stop listening to it. Lucie Miller & To the Death are just fricking amazingly well done. Lucie has moved up into my top five companions after this series. After listening to the last couple of scenes from To the Death; the ones between him and Susan, and when he's alone in the TARDIS, repeating the "One day I'll go back" speech from the First Doctor I get chills. Chills of the very ominous variety. I completely understand the new look now, that's for sure.

I thought I'd seen Eight at his darkest in Zagreus, but that really wasn't him. I think we're going to see some of Nine's Soccer Hooligan creep out next season. And I have some mixed feelings about it. I know the character needs to change and grow, but he was so content on Orbis, then he got back in contact with Lucie again and it looked like things were going to get better after all... Then it all went pear shaped and he went into this guilt anger spiral... I guess I'll just miss my Eight. My Tigger Eight.
