back to school
I started my second year at HCC this past Tuesday...and they weren't kidding when they said enrollment went up. I wasn't aware until later that afternoon when I talked to my dad who had read an article pertaining to it. I wondered why there were police officers directing traffic and people parking on the tennis court (strange)! Anyway, aside from that I like my classes and my teachers. I'm taking Children with Disabilities in the Education Setting, Curriculum in Early Childhood Education (which I am a little worried about actually-after we spent our first class discussing "horror stories" lol), Intro to Deaf Studies, and Statistics (ok so I'm not so excited about this one, but my teacher seems patient, and I do need to take this course for my major).
In other news...Shannon, and the girls all went to New York City this weekend for a workshop with Fat Chance Belly Dance and I'm super jealous. I had the opportunity to go with them, except for my lack of funds. *sigh* Perhaps next time-which Shannon has pointed out-there may never be since they never really come out here...*sad face*
Speaking of, I think I might set up Tim's laptop and do a practice dvd...I haven't since I moved in, and that's just blasphemy! Then I shall probably clean up some more, and do some homework (because I'm a diligent student like that-my polite way of saying nerd, lol)

p.s. falling by an open dishwasher at work is something one should attempt to avoid-this is something I now know firsthand (I slipped and fell right on my ass at work last night-hurting my wrist and back where it connected with the dishwasher door-fun times)
