I took a couple of days off last week in honor of the latest Harry Potter movie. I've been doing it for the past couple of movies and decided that I wouldn't break the trend simply because the movie was opening on a Wednesday this time around. Besides, I love 5 day weekends. *grin*

I saw HP Wednesday morning at a 9am show at Brier Creek. There were 20 of us in the theater, which was beyond lovely. I went to see Transformers Thursday morning (sorry I missed your call graywolf42) and loved it. Will need to go back and see that one again, hopefully this time without the idiots wandering in half way through to ask me which showing this one was. *sigh*

I've had a bit of a cold for ages now, can't shake the cough which is nothing new. If I could convince myself to sleep for a couple of days, maybe that'd take care of it, but it hasn't worked so far.

I'd picked up a couple CDs last month and I've been constantly listening to Melissa Etheridge's Greatest Hits CD for the last couple weeks. Before that it was Rob Thomas' Something To Be, which is about due another rotation. I also picked up Avril Lavigne's latest, The Best Damn Thing which I'm also enjoying though not as much as the previous two (though I also haven't gotten around to just sticking it in the CD player and letting it go).

I have what I believe to be a mother cat and two kittens who appear to be living under my deck. I'm assuming they're all related as the older cat looks nothing like the kittens, but I can't figure out why else they'd all be together otherwise. If they weren't so darn skittish, I might have adopted them as they're all really cute, but every time I open the door to go out, they make a run for it. *sigh* Probably for the best as I can see me having a cat or cats as being... interesting. :) I really need to see if I can get pictures.

Work's been okay. We've had a couple of audits going on and it makes things hectic. I get to do some refresher training tomorrow, which isn't too bad. I'm hoping things have calmed down for a while so we can get caught up at least a bit. I'm not holding my breath for all caught up, as I don't believe it to be possible. Maybe if all our customers would go away and leave us alone it could happen, but as that's not going to happen, I'm not going to spend a lot of time thinking about it.

Well, speaking of work, I should get back to it. I have plenty to do and the 7th Harry Potter book to look forward to on Saturday. Otherwise, my calendar is pretty open until Dragon*con next month.

I hope you all are well!
