(no subject)
I plan to turn in the apartment keys this afternoon! Finally!!! I still have to dig up the rose bush (if only I didn't like it that much, I'd be pretty much done) and do a final vacuum/sweep of the floors. I brought the digital camera with me today to take pictures of the condition when I leave, just in case it matters. I'm so happy to be almost done!
Last night I unpacked the last of the books and got them on the shelves, though I'm not completely happy with the arrangement. Rearranging them can wait though- too many other things to be doing. I'm planning to bring the vacuum back this afternoon, so I can start cleaning the new place (it never ends!), which I want to do before I start doing much in the way of loading in stuff I'm storing in the closets and such. Once I do that, I think I'll make good progress in getting some of the stuff out of the living room. That'll help my anal retentive mind considerably *laugh*
I really need to get to bed early tonight, but I know how bad I am about getting started on just "one last thing" that winds up taking forever... I haven't gotten to bed before 11:30pm for the past couple nights and it's beginning to really hurt. But it's nice to see progress.
Thank goodness tomorrow's Friday and I have a 3-day weekend to get stuff done and to relax :)
