I'm beat.

Much thanks go out to my parents, my brother, hellokeegan, special_agent_m, virtual and virtual_spouse! You guys were an amazing amount of help today!

The closing actually went well. I finally got my closing cost info at around 9am, and it was a bit lower than expected (always a good thing :) so I was able to get that taken care of (as well as changing my address with the bank and ordering new checks) by 9:30am. Then I waited for M&D to show up. When they arrived, we packed up and drove to Cary for the Great Paper Signing Event. Which really wasn't stressful at all. Thankfully, considering the rest of the day.

We got lunch after the signing then headed back to my place to pick up J. We loaded up mine and her car and then caravaned to the house and unloaded. There we found the first interesting item- I had no water. After numerous calls and being put on hold for ages, water was finally restored ~6 something this evening.

Then, the fridge was late being delivered (around that same 6 something) and we found out that the fridge is just a tad too big for the opening. Just my luck. So, I either have to raise those cabinets, or cut/sand enough off the bottom to give it that extra half inch clearance it needs to slide all the way back *sigh*

But, we got almost 3 loads taken over today, which was an amazing amount. During the last load with my family, the rest started unloading kitchen stuff, and they got a ton unpacked while we were gone! Of course, I have no idea where any of it is :)

We had a relaxing dinner at Dairy Queen before everyone headed home for the evening. I spent a bit more time wandering around and moving the furniture in the Master bedroom into the position I think I want it. Will have to think about it a bit more, as I'm not completely sure I like it yet.

It's going to take a bit of time to get use to the new place, but I like it :)

Now, I think I'm going to finish up on-line then go relax for a while and get some sleep as tomorrow is going to be another loooong day!
