Week 2: Otherwise known as...

..."Throw your hands in the air and enjoy the Rollercoaster"

New staff, new menus, still haven't adjusted for the wonky layout of the kitchen (more on that another day).

Monday:
Second staff person started on Monday. Monday was not slow like Friday and the entree, Breakfast for Lunch, was highly anticipated. Note to self, more syrup next time. At least we didn't run out until the end of service. Anyway, poor guy was thrown in sink or swim style. Luckily he dog-paddled right along with the rest of us.

Breakfast for dinner is a family at our house. In this case we chose to do french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and breakfast sausage. Few takers for the sausage. I'd love to do pancakes, but frankly the french toast is a convenient way to use up some of the older bread we have. Our food vendor deals in MASSIVE quantities and for bread that means some of it is getting a little hard before we can use it for sandwiches. A little egg a little milk a little cinnamon and stale bread becomes a treat!
