Episode Discussion: S3, E3 - Corto Maltese Maybe it's the bad mood I'm in but I was not enthralled with this episode. It was definitely a way to get from Point A to Point B. Moved the Thea story, filled in some of the blanks. Had some forward motion with Laurel, all of which was painfully predictable.
I liked the mission, if only for the banter and camaraderie between Oliver, Roy and John. Especially the whole "I never said I didn't know how to use guns". Very amusing.
And Nyssa is back, not surprising, I would assume she'd want to know what happened to Sara. And I also appreciated that Oliver noticed something was different with Thea. Overall it was ok, just kind of underwhelming I think.
Agents of Shield: S2, E5 - A Hen in the Wolf HouseSo Bobbi Morse is kind of badass. I like it. It's also great that Coulson had a plan in place as contingency. (Both the husband and I thought of Meet The Robinsons when they jumped off the building onto the invisible plane, haaahaaa)
I don't know if it's me because of my ... strong dislike of Skye, but my god she was so irritating in this episode. Her treatment of Coulson, he words to May, her going against orders. I suppose I just don't get how she can turn her back to the people that gave her a family, a place in the world, to find a father. I do believe that Coulson and Company are interested in getting her the info, but they want to vet it. Not sure what that says about me that I really don't care about Skye or her father issues. And while she isn't as ... annoying to be as last year, I still have a hard time accepting her.
Did not see that coming, the Bobbi Morse is Lance's ex, but it does bring some humorous tones. And the team keeps getting bigger and bigger man, wow. *g* I kind of like it. But Fitz. I care about him a lot and I think the actor has done such a great job, but he is so off-center where Simmons is concerned. I wanted a hug between them so badly.
Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer was released today. OMG. James Spader is very freaky as Ultron. There is so much going on in the trailer, so many feels, so much pain. So much. I trust in Joss, but he likes pain mixed with action and humor and while Avengers1 didn't have a ton of pain, Cap2 did and I fear that Avengers2 will be like that. Painful emotionally.
